Welcome to ecocentric green building consulting, where we guide green building projects from concept to certification
We specialize in LEED certification of new and existing building projects, including green city 
developments. As the first consultancy in South Africa to offer a dedicated LEED certification service, we have been at the forefront of the green building industry in South Africa from the very beginning and have been guiding green building projects from inception to final certification since 2007.
Since the formation of the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA) and the development of the Green Star rating tools ecocentric has similarly spearheaded the industry by co-developing the Green Star Existing Building PerformanceTool along with Royal Haskoning DHV. As with LEED we have years of experience in guiding projects through Green Star certification.
We provide project and team support throughout the planning, design and construction phases of building projects, where we form part of the professional project team from concept to certification. We also offer building energy modelling for LEED and Green Star projects, and LEED commissioning services through our sister company Ecolution Consulting (both integral requirements of the LEED certification process).
